About the trip

KITE SAFARI or, in other words, an unforgettable 7-day kiteboarding adventure in the Red Sea, which our travelers equate to a holiday of a lifetime!

Life here moves to the rhythm of the sea and the wind, surrounded only by water and uninhabited islands. Adding more uniqueness to this trip is the opportunity to kiteboard straight off the deck of the ship! Additionally, after a kiteboarding session or on less windy days, you’ll have the chance to explore the underwater world of the Red Sea by diving and swimming with dolphins. The ship serves fresh food made on board by a chef, and the cabins are equipped with all conveniences.

We visit uninhabited islands during the voyage, including Ashrafy – a narrow strip of sand, perfect not only for learning but also for stunning sunset photoshoots. Geyzum – an uninhabited island, surrounded by calm blue water from all sides, and curious dolphins.

Accommodation is on a modern and luxurious yacht with a crew of 13 people, ensuring that nothing is lacking during the trip, allowing you to enjoy relaxation without worries. Throughout the journey, professional kiteboarding and diving instructors accompany you, along with a professional photographer capturing all the beautiful moments. The yacht

This is a luxurious four-story yacht, also known as the “Jewel of the Red Sea”, where a crew of 13 people will cater to all the travelers’ needs throughout the journey, alongside the “WindTrain” team. The yacht features 10 comfortable double cabins with individual bathrooms. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning and minibars. For a comfortable rest and relaxation, there are memory foam mattresses, Egyptian cotton bathrobes, and towels. The main deck includes a large dining area, while the third floor of the yacht boasts an open bar with stunning views of the sea horizon.

The air temperature in the Red Sea, nearly same as on the Egyptian coast, is approximately 23–29 degrees Celsius. Water is approx. 23 degrees. The wind ranges from 12 to 35 knots, and one of the greatest advantages throughout the trip is the flat water.

Kiteboarding adventure

We refer to this journey as an adventure for a reason! During the week, we will explore the world of uninhabited islands, winds, waves, and unforgettable sunsets. We have the opportunity to visit Abo Nigar, Tawilla, Geyzum Jetti, Ashrafi, Jubal islands, and based on wind forecasts during the trip, we will decide where to dock. Our only neighbors will be cheerful dolphins, often showing interest in the life happening aboard the ship. The conditions for learning kiteboarding are suitable not only for advanced riders but also for beginners who are just starting this incredible journey. We’ll have a diving instructor on board and an award-winning photographer, so we’ll explore the underwater world and, of course, capture many wonderful moments. A true dream vacation!

FAQ

Can beginners go on this trip? Is it only for the advanced?

The Uninhabited Islands Safari is a kite adventure suitable for everyone. Conditions are great for advancing skills, but beginners will certainly experience unforgettable moments taming the kite in such unique places.

Is it necessary to have your own wetsuit?

All necessary equipment is provided for lessons: wetsuit, helmet, harness, kite, board, and other essentials. If you take your own equipment – bring the wetsuit as well. While it’s warm enought to ride without a wetsuit, on strong wind days a shorty or a 3mm long wetsuit will be more than enough.

Will there be anything to do if there’s no wind?

We have not only diving instructors but also various games and entertainment. Of course, delicious food and unique parties will enhance the experience aboard. So, if the wind doesn’t cooperate for a few days, you won’t be bored.

Is any special preparation needed to start kiteboarding?

Absolutely not. Kiteboarding is a sport for everyone. Children can do it, and there’s no limit even for seniors.

Will there be wind during the trip, and what kites should be taken?

There’s always wind in Egypt. It’s no wonder this place is called a wind paradise. Statistically, the wind blows at 6-15 m/s, so we recommend having both large and small kites. If you run short of equipment during the trip, we can always offer rentals.
