About the area
The village of Monciškii is located in the historical land of the Curonian Spit, so the authenticity, complemented by the comfortable elements of the present, can be felt at every step.
Like the fishermen who once reigned here, we also start and end each day with the sea. And from it to the house – only over a dune. You will be able to settle in JūraSpot boutique apartments with all amenities, inspired by the authentic architecture of the Curonian Spit and the unique seaside nature.

Equipment rental
We offer Duotone and Airush kites, twin tip and surf boards, wingfoil and other high-quality equipment for rental. With our extensive range of gear, you can try out various kites, boards and disciplines.

Important!
Only kiteboarders with at least a Level 2 IKO card are allowed to rent equipment independently. If you don’t possess one, a ‘WindTrain’ instructor will assess your skills and make a decision. This system is designed to ensure both the safety of our clients and proper equipment usage. All gear is rented on a personal basis, so the client is responsible for its condition upon return and must compensate for any damages, if present.
FAQ
Do I need to have my own wetsuit?
During the lessons, all necessary equipment is provided: wetsuit, helmet, harness, kite, board, and other gear.
Will there be a place to eat?
Yes, there are several restaurants/cafes around our school. If you stay in our apartments, you can cook your own meals as they’re equiped with kitchens. The nearest grocery store is in Šventoji, and shopping centers are in Palanga.
Will there be showers?
Yes, after the lessons you can use the shower at our school.
Can I take my family with me?
The seaside is attractive for both active and leisure travelers, so feel free to bring your family.
Will there be things to do if there is no wind?
Yes – there are beach volleyball and tennis courts, SUPs, electric bikes, longboards, bodyboards, sauna, and plenty more.
Is there a nightlife around?
Monciškės is a quiet town, so there isn’t much action after midnight. However, during the summer, the nightlife in Palanga is lively, where you can find places like Ražė, Ošia Palanga, Opus 3 terrace, and Kablio terrace. All of this is just a 15-minute taxi ride away.
Is the sea suitable for beginners?
Absolutely, the sea is a suitable place for beginners. In more challenging conditions at sea, we organize trips to the Coronian lagoon and continue the lessons there.
